Does anyone have contacts within the Vancouver film and TV industry? More specifically, people who work on the technical side of the industry, like crew? I've always wanted to do that sort of thing as a living, but I have very little idea about what sort of schooling is required for it, if any. I eventually want to go to the Vancouver Film School and get a degree from there, but to be honest, I don't have the funds for it at the moment. I'll be graduating from a two-year community college by next summer with an Associates of Arts degree, but I want to know if I need more than that to be able to work in the industry. If you could just send them a link to this post, that would be awesome. I can supply my personal e-mail address as well if they ask for it.

Thanks, everyone, for helping out a film geek and stage techie to try and get on the road to live her dreams!

So, there's this thing called cleverbot.com, and it's basically this AI that responds to anything you type in a entry field. The answer it gives may or may not be related to what you put in. Being the geek I am, I decided to have some fun with it...

Randomness, ahoy! )

TL;DR: I have far too much fun being geeky.

Oh Hai!
