Hello, fellow denizens of LJ-land. I know that recently we've recently seen a lot of worthy causes requesting donations for relief efforts for various disasters around the world, but I wanted to put this out there. Breast cancer is a serious disease, and takes thousands of lives each year. My mother is participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day For the Cure walk this coming fall, and is in need of funds to help support both her and the walk itself. All money goes to advancing breast cancer research, so you don't have to worry about your money being funneled where it shouldn't go.
