Does anyone have contacts within the Vancouver film and TV industry? More specifically, people who work on the technical side of the industry, like crew? I've always wanted to do that sort of thing as a living, but I have very little idea about what sort of schooling is required for it, if any. I eventually want to go to the Vancouver Film School and get a degree from there, but to be honest, I don't have the funds for it at the moment. I'll be graduating from a two-year community college by next summer with an Associates of Arts degree, but I want to know if I need more than that to be able to work in the industry.
